1. Open your preferred browser and navigate to: https://gemini.google.com.

2. You will land on the Google Gemini Homepage. Sign in using your Fresno State email address.

3. You will be directed to sign in with your Fresno State credentials.

4. Once logged in, you can start chatting with Gemini, exploring different features, and using AI-powered tools to enhance your ideas.

1. When you first open Google Gemini, you will see the welcome screen. Click "Chat with Gemini" to begin.

2. You will be redirected to a page displaying Google’s Terms and Privacy Policy. Review them before proceeding.

3. After accepting the terms, you will arrive at the Google Gemini Homepage, where you will see an introductory pop-up. Click "Continue" to access the main interface.

4. After clicking continue, you will arrive on the Google Gemini Homepage.

5. Google Gemini's menu provides access to various features:

  • New Chat: Start a fresh conversation with Gemini.
  • Gem Manager: Explore pre-made Gems or create your own custom AI assistants. Gems for Google Gemini are custom AI assistants that you can create and tailor to your specific needs and preferences, giving you personalized guidance and support.
  • Help: Find FAQs, updates, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Activity: Google Gemini saves chats for up to 72 hours, even if activity settings are disabled. Your data helps improve service quality, maintain security, and process feedback.
  • Settings: Customize your experience with Light or Dark Mode selection
  • Location: Google Gemini uses location data to enhance search results and provide relevant local information.

6. Google Gemini offers different models based on your subscription plan. Click the down arrow in the top menu to view and select a model.
