Fresno State utilizes Oracle's PeopleSoft application to serve the needs of Student Administration (Campus Solutions), Finance (CFS), and Human Resources (HR).

PeopleSoft – Student Systems (Campus Solutions)

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions manages student academic operations, including scheduling and registering for classes, calculating and collecting fees, awarding financial aid and assessing students' academic progress. Provides technical, development, and maintenance support for student administration within the My Fresno State portal. Works with Admissions, Records, and Evaluations as well as the Scheduling Office to provide class schedules and student class registration.

Users: Students, Faculty and Academic Staff

PeopleSoft – CFS (Financial System)

CSU Common Financial System (CFS) is a single, system-wide financial system that manages: General Ledger, Billing, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and Purchasing. Provides technical, development, and maintenance support for PeopleSoft financials. Works in close relationship with accounting and payroll to provide timely and accurate financial records.

Users: Finance department, Budget Coordinator, ProCard Users

PeopleSoft – HR

PeopleSoft HR maintains employment related data and includes employee/manager Self Service features such as view paycheck history, employee leave balance inquiry, and absence and time reporting. Provides technical, development, and maintenance support for the Human resource components within PeopleSoft. Works in conjunction with Human resources to provide assets with My Fresno State portal for employees.

Users: Staff, Managers, Faculty, Student Workers.

Breadcrumbs are links that appear in the NavBar menu as you navigate through folders and pages. You can use these links to backtrack your steps, as needed.

When on the page you wish to add, go to the three dots icon in the upper right corner of your screen. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Select "Add to Favorites"

  2. Use the label provided or update if you like, and click "Add"

To edit or delete any favorites, go to the NavBar menu under the compass in the upper right and click on “Favorites” to make changes:

In order to gain the new access that you need, you will have to submit a NEW Security Request. Once your new security request is processed you will be granted access to your PeopleSoft Items.

  1. Go to the MyFresnoState Portal.
  2. Once you are on the portal, click on the Sign In button.
  3. Enter your Fresno State e-mail username and password in the provided fields and click the Login button.
  4. If you get an error message, contact the Technology Service Desk for immediate assistance or Report an Issue Ticket.

Since the Portal is a dynamic environment, and browsers are designed to remember information, there are times that you can receive odd error messages. The best thing to try is to clear the browser's cache and history. In most PC-based browsers, you can clear the cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del at the same time on the keyboard.
