NEW PROJECTS

Unified Communications (Zoom Phone) 2022  Technology Services is embarking on a project to modernize the University’s outdated telephone system by improving performance, reducing security vulnerabilities, and decreasing operational costs. Our plan is to achieve a Unified Communication System by leveraging our existing Zoom platform. The Zoom Phone feature will be added to the Zoom client over the next few months. 

ONGOING WORK 

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) maintenance from January to July 2022 - Over the next several months Technology Services' Network and Field Operations Teams will be replacing UPS units across the campus from January through July of 2022. All work will be completed between the hours of 5:30-7:30 a.m. to avoid disruption of campus services. NOTE: Not all areas on campus are impacted by this maintenance. Please review the schedule of work to determine if your building or area will be affected.

         Affected Services

  • Internet: All campus networks will be non-operational during the maintenance window for each specific area.
  • Phones: Phone services will not be available during the maintenance window for each specific building or area. NOTE: If you are on campus during this time and need emergency assistance, please call 911 from your cell phone.
